OUR COMPANY

Based out of Menomonie, Wisconsin, Timber Ridge is owned by two brothers, Jamie and Tim Winsand. Although Jamie and Tim grew up together, their variety of education and experience is what makes Timber Ridge Homes a unique home building company.

Jamie attended University of Wisconsin - Stout for art and design, while Tim attended University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire for business. Both put themselves through college by doing construction. After college, they focused their attention on new residential construction.

HOW WE BUILD HOMES

We never build the same home twice.
We encourage you to use different materials and review many floor plans when building your home.

We have a great deal of experience building quality homes throughout Western Wisconsin, and we are excited about using the new materials that are constantly becoming available. We often use cultured stone in our interiors, particularly on the fireplace or an accent wall. Some of the fireplaces we’ve built have been massive, such as the one featured in a recent Parade of Homes, which was over 20 feet high. We believe it’s our incorporation of a variety of materials that sets us apart from other home builders.

Create a home that reflects your personal style in the overall floor plan and the little details. Become involved in the home building process. Whether you just have an idea sketched on a napkin or a completed floor plan, we work with you to develop an accurate home building estimate. After your project is underway, if you want to change a room’s size or add a closet, it’s not a problem. As we do much of the home building ourselves, we are usually on the job site and accessible.

Besides fulfilling the role of residential general contractor, we also do the framing, trim work, siding, and masonry. We do subcontract some work such as electrical and plumbing, but we often use the same subcontractors for most of the homes we build because of our great relationship with them.
